United Way and workplace giving

ExxonMobil employees in Anchorage, Alaska show their commitment to Live United.

In 2011, ExxonMobil, together with its current and retired employees, donated $29.4 million through company-sponsored workplace giving campaigns in the United States, Canada, and other countries. In addition to United Way corporate gifts in the United States totaling $4.8 million, employees and retirees pledged more than $15.9 million to the United Way. In Fairfax, Virginia and Dallas, Texas, ExxonMobil and its employees donated more than $4.4 million to local charitable organizations through our Employee’s Favorite Charity Campaign. Canadian employees and retirees pledged more than $2.5 million to the United Way, bringing the total corporate and employee donations in Canada to more than $3.7 million.
