ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Celebrates a Century of Partnerships
The transformation from farmland to world-class petrochemical complex happened over the course of a century, but our company's commitment to our community has been continuous since our beginnings in 1909. As ExxonMobil Baton Rouge celebrates a century of partnerships in our community, we're excited to announce special events that include the many people and organizations who helped make our company so successful over the years. From our many quality employees and nearby neighbors to the schools and non-profits we partner with each day, we're excited to celebrate with everyone.

Students: Enter our 100th Anniversary Poster Contest!
In celebration of ExxonMobil's 100th Anniversary, we are sponsoring a poster contest for area students. The poster theme is "100 Years of Innovation,” with a focus on how science has improved our lives in the last century. This contest will be opened to students, ages 5-18, and judged by age category including ages 5-8, ages 9-12 and ages 13-18.
The top three winners in each category will receive prizes and have their posters displayed at the “Meet Your Neighbor Day” neighborhood celebration on Sept. 26 at the Delmont Service Center. In addition, winners will be recognized in our neighborhood newsletter, ExxonMobil Neighbor News. Deadline to participate is May 15, 2009.
