ExxonMobil Supply & Transportation optimizes our global supply chain, including selection and placement of raw materials to our refineries, efficient supply of products to our customers, and placement of ExxonMobil's equity crude. Our proven business model is founded on continuous operations improvement, leveraging our global scale and integration across businesses to improve margins and deliver efficiencies. In S&T, we operate a global distribution network of petroleum products with all different modes of transport including pipelines, rail, truck and marine. As an S&T Supply Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible utilizing these modes of transport in facilitating the movement of raw materials and finished products to and from our refineries worldwide, while optimizing the overall supply chain including transportation.  The management of inventories at our facilities is also a key role.  As an S&T Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting regional and corporate management in the safe and efficient operation of this network.  This will include developing strategies to achieve pacesetter performance in Refining, Supply and Transportation, as well as facilitating and coordinating the stewardship of best practices and operating results.

Your Responsibilities

Supply Logistics Coordinator

  • Work with Refinery Optimization, Commercial Trading, Marine and Pipeline organizations to optimize the supply chain, ensuring most economic supplies are delivered to ExxonMobil worldwide facilities
  • Develop and implement optimal coverage plan for term and spot supplies to and from ExxonMobil refineries and distribution terminals
  • Manage ExxonMobil interface with third party suppliers (e.g., supply and vessel nominations, loading instructions)
  • Manage supply disruption events; assess and implement mitigating steps
  • Develop recommendations to maximize asset utilization (refinery capacity, affiliate-owned and time-chartered vessels, terminals)

Business Analyst

  • Develop strategies for key business segments
  • Monitor competitive developments.  Benchmark ExxonMobil supply costs (including transportation) compared to competitors'
  • Analyze monthly refining earnings and isolate industry and company's effects on earnings
  • Manage the monthly refining optimization process
  • Identify projects to improve logistics infrastructure
  • Evaluate asset acquisitions, disposals and joint venture arrangements, consistent with Corporate strategies
  • Coordinate development of best practices and steward their use
  • Steward results of operating units

Your Background

Academic
Bachelor's Degree in any engineering discipline or MBA with an engineering undergraduate degree.  Operational intern experience a positive.
